We Support Local Farms and Artisans
who Nurture the Earth, and Practice Sustainability
Our Local Farmers
Well Fed Farms began with the idea of producing good food; meat and produce that is healthy, clean, delicious and grown with care. Experience has shown that a label proclaiming “organic”, “natural” or ‘”local” does not necessarily make a product healthy or sustainable. These are often just buzzwords and even ones that require an independent certification have loopholes.
The best food comes from farmers who truly care about land, animals, and community; people who operate on a small enough scale to spend time with both the food they produce and the customers who eat it; businesses that operate transparently and welcome anyone to stop by to see for themselves where their food comes from and how it is grown.
Well Fed Farms embodies these values. Animals are raised outdoors on pasture, where they can scratch, root, play, and forage. Their diets are completed with high quality, GMO free grain rations sourced from independently owned, local mills. Excellent feed, supplemented with abundant forage, results in delicious, nutrient-rich meat and eggs. An open, low stress environment where they are free to exercise their natural instincts results in healthy, contented animals. You can see and taste the difference.
Skagit River Ranch
Skagit River Ranch is a family owned organic farm in the fertile Skagit Valley about 1.5 hours north of Seattle. We are along the beautiful Skagit River, where eagles roost in winter, and salmon return every summer. Our commitment is to farm in harmony with this environment. We believe that by being good stewards of the land and using sustainable, organic & humane methods, Mother Nature will bless us back with healthy, clean food.. a gift we are honored to share with you. The work is demanding, but we love taking part in strengthening the link between the land, sustainable farming and our customers. In the last 17 years, we have committed to providing our customers with the most wholesome, best tasting, organic grass-fed beef, organic pork, organic chicken, turkeys and eggs.
Gordon Skagit Farms
Since 1932, Gordon Family Farm has been farming in the Skagit Valley. Located in the Pacific Northwest, the farm lies in a delta created over eons by the Skagit River. The loamy soil from the river's deposits and marine climate makes it ideal to grow a variety of crops. Our location in the central part of the valley gives us surrounding views, mountains, snow capped volcanoes and sunsets. The Gordon Family has dedicated itself to the intuition of agriculture believing in its rich history and its important future to feed us - mind, body and soul.

They also grow a wonderful variety of Asian Pears, vegetables and fruits, including strawberries. You can find Frog Song at the Mount Vernon Farmers Market as well as market locations in King and Snohomish Counties. Frog Song is unique in using "dry farming" practices, cultivating the soil to retain and nourish their farm without irrigation.
